Atlantic Sinfonia enjoys visits to schools in the communities where we perform.

Our “Meet the Orchestra” program, very popular with students and educators, introduces the different families of orchestra instruments in an informal classroom setting. One or two of our Sinfonia musicians will visit a school and demonstrate their “family” of instruments – for example, strings or woodwinds. The students get hands on learning plus a personalized performance, with lots of opportunities for questions and discussion.

These visits are customized to each school’s needs and age range. Materials and teaching aids are included.

Sinfonia is also available for formal concerts at schools and master classes for advanced students can also be arranged.
