Around the World with Strings! Back by popular demand…..Classical Kids! This event is free! For children ged six to twelve; moms and dads and other grownups are welcome too. This session will take the Classical Kids on a lively, fast-moving trip around the world of music with violinist Katherine Moller and bassist Andrew Miller. This fun and interactive hands-on session will explore how stringed instruments (violins, violas and basses) sound and work. Children will get to hear classical and traditional string music from Hungary, Germany, Scotland and England. The Music of Bach, Bartok, Telemann and Handel will be featured. Following the event, Classical Kids and their parents are invited to attend Atlantic Sinfonia’s Legacy concert at 3:00pm, at Christ Church Cathedral. This special ticket can be purchased for $20 only at this Classical Kids event. The ticket admits one child and two adults. Add $3 for each additional child in the family.
